On June 17, at 14:00, Katarinenfeld (now the town of Bolnis) will host a wine festival of protected designation of origin! The festival will be held in the German quarter of Bolnisi, which was built by the German colonists who settled in the Caucasus at the beginning of the 19th century. More than 70 wineries will participate in the festival. Within the framework of the festival, a competition will be held among the participating wines, and the winners of 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze certificates will be revealed. The wine festival will be attended by specially invited sommeliers, wine writers and wine experts from the United States of America. On the same day, a Georgian-German wine house will be opened in the old German quarter, which will be a tasting space for Bolnisi wines. A century-old German house in Bolnisi, Tsiskvili st. It is located in #8 and its restoration was carried out with the involvement of the "Union for the Protection of German Cultural Heritage in the South Caucasus" and with the financial support of the RMG company. The festival will close with a concert by Niaz Diasamidze and group 33a. Attendance at the festival is free.
