Gori Ethnographic Corner was built within the framework of the The project “Tourism, Heritage and Creativity” (BSB 1130) which was carried out with the support of the ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 and funded by the European Union. Small scale investment in gori contributed to the two of objectives: 1. Building Capacity of local actors for successful cross-border business cooperation in creative tourism and merging cultural sector and 2. Development of Innovative Cross-border Creative Tourism offers and cultural products based on local tangible and intangible heritage assets. The first stage included construction of the premises for ethnographical corner on the Gori fortress territory and their equipment under the weaving, ceramic workshops and information center. The second stage included training of the local staff in creative tourism offers and heritage based products development and development of concrete offers and product. The ethnographic corner next to the Gori fortress as a creative tourism destination establishes the good practice of combination of heritage and tourism services at the cultural institutions and can serve as a good example for replication. In parallel, it binds creative tourism and local intangible heritage within the cultural site for the creation of additional attraction as well as additional source of the income for the sustainability.
