May 6, at EUROPE DAY 2023 H.E Pavel Herchinsky, the Ambassador of European Union to Georgia, visited Georgian Arts and Culture Center’s stand, presenting EU funded projects.
Creative tourism at the event was represented by the project "Tourism, Heritage and Creativity" (BSB1130).
Due to the scale of the fair, the representatives of the project - Tourism, Heritage and Creativity (BSB1130) had the opportunity to promote the cross-border routes of the 3 countries and to provide the general public with information about the results of the project and the experience gained, to share the developed informational booklet and educational publications on the topics - creative tourism, cultural heritage products and entrepreneurship. In addition, the ceramic master classes conducted by the project beneficiary aroused great interest, in which more than 30 volunteers participated.
The project "Tourism, Heritage and Creativity" (BSB 1130) is a joint endeavour of 3 countries - Georgian Arts and Culture Center, Bulgarian - European Institute for Cultural Tourism EUREKA NPO, Ukrainian – Nikolaev Development Fund, and Gori Municipality City Hall. BSB 1130 is carried out with the support of the ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 and is funded by the European Union.
