Within the framework of the small investment activities of the current project "Tourism, Heritage and Creativity (BSB1130)" - European Union’s ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020, ceramics and textile creative workshops were built, technically equipped and fully maintained on in the center of Gori. ๐ช๐บ๐On June 13, at the opening event of the workshops, the Georgian Arts and Culture Center handed over the facility to the Gori Municipality City Hall; At creative workshops, educational master classes were held for representatives of the region and tourists in cooperation with Gori Culture and Tourism Development Promotion Agency. ๐ช๐บ๐The opening of the workshop was attended by: Mayor of Gori Municipality Vladimer Khinchegashvili, Chairman of the City Council of Gori Municipality Davit Razmadze, Coordinator of the EU Black Sea Cross-Border Cooperation Program in Georgia, General Director of the EU Assistance Coordination and Sector Integration Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Davit Bujiashvili; Head of Gori Culture and Tourism Development Promotion Agency Robert Maglakelidze. ๐ช๐บ๐The event was also attended by local stakeholders and Bulgarian and Ukrainian partners of the "Tourism, Heritage and Creativity (BSB1130)" project, Georgian, Bulgarian and Ukrainian tour operators invited as part of the cross border creative tourism info tour, and representatives of the guide association. ๐ช๐บ๐The project "Tourism, Heritage and Creativity" (THC 1130) is a joint endeavor of 3 countries - Georgian Arts and Culture Center, Bulgarian - European Institute for Cultural Tourism EUREKA NPO, Ukrainian Foundation for the Development of the City of Mykolaiv, and Gori Municipality City Hall. It aims to bind the tourism and heritage sectors for their mutual advantage. Overall, the objective is to advance businesses within these sectors by developing creative tourism and cultural products based on local heritage assets. The project implementation period is between 26.09.2020 and 26.12.2022. THC is carried out with the support of the ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 and is funded by the European Union.
